Have you also spent years of your life devouring self-help podcasts, hanging on every freaking word that comes out of Brené Brown’s mouth, journaling your little heart out, checking in on your daily astrology forecast, and building quite the library on self-development, spiritual discovery, healing, embodiment, and how to create effective change?

While taking this seven-year scenic route, I ended up working with various healers and wellness practitioners, pursuing education in an assortment of holistic healing modalities, and ultimately discovered I have a gift of seeing and holding space for The Shadow.

WHAT IS THE SHADOW?


You’ve probably heard the term shadow work but, if not, here’s how I’ve come to understand it.

We all have aspects of ourself that have been repressed in some way. Now, I don’t have the exact data but I’m pretty sure 100% of the population experiences this. We all come by it honestly and most of the time this happens in childhood when it didn’t feel okay to act a certain way. It’s a brilliant way that we learn to adapt to our surroundings and to form relationships.

Maybe you were scolded or felt embarrassed for showing big emotion when you were little and subconsciously learned to manage your emotions. As an adult, this might feel like having a hard time expressing anger or keeping your calendar totally booked out so that you don’t even have time to think about your feelings.

Many women feel uncomfortable taking up space or confidently asking for what they need. Heck, most women don’t even know what they need. This is unfortunately a result of generations of wounding around what it means to exist as a woman in the world. So, naturally, we learn to adapt. We shrink ourselves and our needs and focus on making sure everyone around us is cared for.

All of these ways in which we learn to “turn off” parts of ourself are what accumulate over time and form The Shadow.

What’s the most heartbreaking to me is that most of us live in a world that glorifies the light and fears the shadow. As I see it, this approach to healing is what should be questioned. How might we have become fixated only on the light and allowed these sacred parts of us to remain hidden in darkness?

WHAT I’VE DISCOVERED

The heart is extremely resilient.

Integrating The Shadow might just be the key to feeling whole and free.

Emotions are the language of The Shadow.

There’s magic and medicine in the “messiest” parts of who we are.

Our perceived flaws are where our greatest power lies.

Behaviors shift when we listen to the wisdom of our body.

We are full of so much more depth and beauty than we can currently see.

Here’s a glimpse into what it feels like to be in sessions together.

  • Somewhere between friendship and therapy, these are coaching sessions intended to create real, tangible change—to shift into more desirable behaviors and emotional states. My intention is for you to leave each session feeling more empowered and self-assured.

    Our time together is conversational and always guided by your energy. Hopefully it feels like chatting with a friend, only one who has totally geeked out on self-exploration tools.

    The mind moves at light speed compared to the body and my intention is to ensure we’re moving at a pace that is supportive to your nervous system.

    We’ll move with the energy that’s present, meaning we won’t force our own agenda. We’ll follow the wisdom of where your body wants to go and how you’re showing up for each session.

  • I’m always exploring new ways to navigate the embodiment process, which naturally get folded into my work. I’ll incorporate various healing modalities and teaching tools as they feel supportive for you.

  • Human Design has become a fundamental resource when I begin partnering with clients because it can provide a reflection of our internal energetic map, how energy naturally wants to flow through you

    I’ve been studying and experimenting with this tool in my own life since 2019 and completed a two-year training program in January of 2022 to learn how to analyze and read charts for others.

    Over the past few years I've witnessed Human Design provide language, perspective, clarity, and permission to do life differently, in a way that invites more flow, self-awareness, and autonomy.

    My approach to using tools like Human Design is one of curiosity and sensitivity to our lived experiences. I believe we already hold the wisdom to whatever it is we’re hoping to unlock. This tool does not know you better than you know yourself, but it can provide insights to help you see things from a fresh perspective and with more compassion.

  • All clients begin with a Behind the Veil session.

    This is a 90-minute foundational session where we explore your Human Design chart together. I'll illuminate key aspects of your design and we'll discuss how they may be showing up in your daily life.

    After this initial session, you’ll have the choice to either book single sessions as needed or as in 3-session packages (held weekly) to create some deep change together.

Behind the Veil Session

In this foundational session, we'll take some time to explore your Human Design chart together and discuss current challenges. You’ll leave having already planted seeds for change with tangible tools and steps for how to support yourself.

Attunement Sessions

Already done a Behind the Veil session? Attunement Sessions are designed to offer you some bolstering, support with integration, help you recenter, and initiate change whenever you need it.
